Contribuiți la feedbackThe lavender lemon sprinter potion was amazing. I have made a little lavender simply syrup on this weekend to duplicate this drink soon. absolutely loved the scotch eier. our server, matt, was also quite cool. will soon visit again.
This is my new favorite pub. It's the Cask ale, the holy grail of beer. It's the location: Alger Heights, where I grew up. It's the amazing and innovative food. And wait: the shanties! Heated and cozy for outdoor dining and drinking in winter. All in all it's the real deal, the complete-package pub experience, and I can't recommend it highly enough. And yeah try the cask, if you haven't yet, or at least ask about it...it really is a rare gem. This is like the only (or first) bar in Michigan to have it, last I checked, or at least to be certified. (Just read that they're only the 26th in the U.S. to be Cask Marque certified
I stopped by several years ago after they first opened, but I stopped in again a couple weeks ago to see how things are going. Their beers are very good and easy to drink, and the cask ales are even better. The cask ale was very smooth and creamy, and it was really a new experience for me. The food was quite good too, and my friend who used to live in the UK was very fond of the bangers and mash.
The beer was great, had the star cask ale, all season ale and the wayfarer, great if your an IPA guy. Our server Scott was awesome. Food was amazing, best beer cheese I have ever had and the pickle lover sammy was great. The hand cut fries were also great.
Such a delightful neighborhood brewery with a great variety of beers that are approachable to everyone regardless of preferences. Very cozy the perfect place to spend an afternoon with a flight of every beer they have on tap. Our server, Scott, was incredibly friendly and made our visit even more fun!
