Contribuiți la feedbackI typically avoid leaving negative reviews for small businesses, but I can no longer support Mixed Up Burgers. I have had issues in the past that were usually resolved easily, but my recent experience was truly disappointing. Using their online ordering system was a confusing ordeal, as I mistakenly removed all the essential components of my burger. When I picked up my order and realized it was completely wrong, the staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and even sarcastic. After trying to explain the mistake, I was told to wait for the owner to receive a refund, which was frustrating. Overall, I would caution against ordering from Mixed Up Burgers unless you have a knack for decoding their ordering system.
During my stay in town at the hotel next to Mixed Up Burgers, I had the opportunity to dine there a few times. The first visit, I tried the Frito Pie Burger and it was fantastic! The chili had a nice kick to it, but that didn't stop me from enjoying a large ZiegenBock beer at a great price. Another time, I ordered the Irish Nacho Burger. I wished the fried potato slices were more prominent, but it was still delicious. I tried both the onion rings and fries on different visits, and I found myself preferring the fries as the onion rings were a bit greasy. I wasn't a fan of the additional charge for the sides though. If I ever find myself in Grand Prairie again, I will definitely be returning. On my latest visit, I tried the Jethro burger based on a recommendation. It was incredibly tasty with the Cajun spices giving it a lot of flavor. I personally wouldn't have minded more blue cheese (which is inside the patty) as it was delightful!
