King Crab House - Grand Prairie

First timer, and I must say they did not disappoint! Our server is said she is normally a bartender but she was a natural when it came to serving. She made great menu suggestions and recommendations. She was busy but stayed attentive and polite. The food was seasoned really well and served smoking hot and timely! The cocktails did not let me down either. I was pleased with my experience and will visit in the future. I would however advised management to be more cleanly with the restrooms.

To begin with, the restaurant was very clean no signs of pesky debris lying around. Restrooms where very clean! Waiter was professional took our order in and received in a timely manner! Based on observation, the staff seems like enjoy working here. Also, where treating customers with respect. Prices do range but you won?t break the bank IMO. Would recommend 10/10! P.S. this plate is the first option I believe with the mixture of the shrimp, crab legs and, sides mixed in. Don?t make the mistake to eat it without any kick of spice like I did).

First time experience was phenomenal! We ordered the hushpuppies (crispy and flavored well), one pound of snow crab and half a pound of shrimp, corn, and potatoes with the house sauce. The flavor and spice level was awesome! We picked medium spice and it was just the right amount of spiciness. We enjoyed every piece of our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some crab legs and shrimp for a great price. We also ordered a beer and strawberry daiquiri which was good (you could taste the alcohol). The music was good and atmosphere was chill (it's definitely a vibe).

Thoroughly Disappointed, first and last time I will visit. Came with high expectations as a lot of Locals have recommended this place, especially my friend that I came with who had many good experiences prior to ours. 1 Service was awful. Young girl who hardly checked on us, and I had to go to the bar to ask for a refill and silverware/crab crackers. 2 Food was not great. Lucis Chicken on Main St has better catfish. This was subpar, flavorless, too greasy, and just not good. 3 Bathrooms were a wreck! Literally. No toilet paper or soap! (and yes I did take a pic so hopefully the owners see this and step it up. 4 I came in a party of 4 being two adults and two children, during non-peak hours, and still recieved bad service. We didn't even need much just the usual like refills, condiments, and napkins.

Decided to give this a second try. I thought we liked it the first time around but no! Service was horrible,my husband asked for shrimp fried rice and it had crawfish in it, he didn?t wanna make it a issue so he picked out the crawfish. Might have well said it was CRAWFISH fried rice,cause there was no shrimp in it! No where on the menu did it state it came with crawfish. A appetizer is a pre meal. It came out with our food. No Tabasco sauce, and was a hassle to get our ticket. I would highly NOT recommend this place. Waste of money if you ask me . Oh FYI the CATFISH taste extra muddy ????
