Golden Gate Chinese - Grand Prairie

I have been a customer since I moved here in the fall of '13... never have I been disappointed! Always good food prepared in the authentic family presentations that are consistently fresh and delicious! Five Gold Stars and definitely Best Among Equals!

Food was awesome but I miss my chinese boneless spare ribs ...none around GP

I have been ordering at this restraunt for as long as I remember at least since the late eighties. It is just a small place in a shopping center. I believe it is the only business that has been there for that long. My usual order is the chicken in garlic sauce. It is spicy and the large order will feed at least two people. My kids love the lomein and the honey chicken. Just a great place to get food. It is because of this place that I have never been a fan of Panda Expess.

I’ve been living in the Grand Prairie area for about two years. This is the first time trying out this restaurant. It is about five minutes from my house, but didn’t know about this place until searching on Google map. This is a family run business where everyone in the family helps out in the store, very similar to all the hard working small restaurant owners out there. I ordered a Togo order of large hot and sour soup and a large combination Singapore noodles. Both items were really good!!! The noodles cooked perfectly, not mushy like some of the places I have tried. The portion is good too in both the noodles and meats. I can even taste the “wok hay,” which is not easy to master for a quick meal. The soup was just right, good consistency with lots of mushrooms, wood-ear fungus, eggs, and bamboo shoots. I will definitely be back to try out other items. And as for some of the reviews mentioned about the lady taking the order, I found her to be very pleasant and respectful. I can tell that she takes pride of her work and trying her best to get everyone’s orders as quickly and correctly as possible.

Haven't been there in a while but every time I went the food was good they must have new owners or something because the food was terrible rice was dry looked like it was probably 2 or 3 days old and it was just nasty not going back ever again
