Don Juans Romantic Mexican Food

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I enjoy dining here so much. However, I really wish they would open on Sundays. I visit my grandparents every Sunday, which is the only time I'm available, and since they're closed then, I miss out on eating here. Please consider opening on Sundays!

I have been dining at Don Juan's with my family for over 30 years, and if you’re not going there for the amazing Taco Thursday special, which is so iconic that it was even featured in my high-school talent show as "afternoon delight," then make sure you don’t miss their sweet tea! Opt for the large size, and before you head out, grab a refill for the road. You won’t regret it!

This restaurant is one of the most reliable fast food Mexican drive-thrus I've ever experienced! The menu offers a wide variety of options, so be sure to try everything. I particularly enjoy the platters!

I ordered a combo burrito, and it was decent—nothing particularly exciting. I ended up smothering it in salsa to enhance the flavor; unfortunately, it was served lukewarm. My husband, being from the area, definitely felt a wave of nostalgia while we were there. Our daughter and her friends opted for French fries with ranch dressing for dipping. I overheard one of them say, “These fries are legit 10 out of 10.” The three teenage girls polished off three orders, so it seems like the fries are a must-try for our next visit! I plan to eat there again when we’re back in town for Friday Night Lights. I recommend giving Don Juan's a try—it’s definitely better than Bell!
