Wheelhouse Cafe - Grand Narrows

Think twice before ordering Fish 'n' Chips there...They're commercial frozen type: Tasteless and oily... The rest of their offerings looks wayyyyy better

What a wonderful location right on the Bras D'Or Lake with great healthy food which is mostly home made The staff is very friendly and knowable about the area They have music on Wednesdays afternoon (some outside and some inside) open from around the 19th of june tile the end of august and the long weekend in Oct.

What a wonderful little place to stumble upon. Small but excellent food and service. husband had a veggie sandwich & soup of the day, both very good. Can't remember the name of soup, but it was very good,with rice and carrots in it. Tasty ! But I hit upon an awesome pizza-Greek,with black olives,tomato,red onion, orange pepper,capers & feta. So so GOOD !!!

The restaurant was conveniently located across from our hotel. The staff were very friendly and the food was simple but delicious.

We were hungry on our way to Sydney. Stopped here about 6 hours into our travels and it was simple SPLENDID. Pizza and beer is a win!
