The Garlic Knot - Grand Junction

Went to eat at 1 PM on Saturday. They open at 12 PM. No one was there to greet, chairs were up and no one showed up. Called the number and an unknown male answered and said they should be open but he wasn't there. Service received a one star, can't rate food.

The food was quite good. The cheese pizza was a classic New York-style pie, and the Little Italy Pizza was exceptional—delicious! The meeting Pinwheel was a bit small, but I expected that, so I wasn't too disappointed. The prices are reasonable, or even better than reasonable, especially for a non-independent restaurant. However, the staff could use some improvement. It would have been better to wait and receive the entire order at once instead of getting half and then waiting another seven minutes for the rest.

I really enjoyed the food. The dough was just right—not too thick and not too thin. The pizzas were made exactly as we ordered, and the garlic knots had the perfect balance of flavor and cheese. The seating was comfortable, and the restaurant was clean. The staff was pleasant, but they seemed unfamiliar with the beer and wine offerings, and there was no menu available for us to look at. Additionally, it took 45 minutes for the appetizer to arrive after ordering, followed by another 20 minutes for the pizza. If it weren't for the long wait and the lack of knowledge, I would have given them a rating of 5 stars.

The food was enjoyable, and the prices were fair. We attended a fundraiser night, and it seemed our server was relatively new. He fumbled a bit when we first arrived, but he improved and did a great job for the rest of our time there. I really appreciate dedicating evenings to fundraising. It's wonderful to see businesses supporting our children's clubs and teams in reaching their goals!

This little bowling alley, pizza place is actually quite good. It's so far from the main stream that it's never busy! Nevertheless, you can't go there for lunch as it takes 20-30 minutes to get your food. The waiting staff is young and often immature. Once you get the food, it is delicious with a good crust and good sauce. I always get a Calzon and it never disappointed!
