Steadfast Delights - Grand Junction

Steadfast Delights is more a coffee house and ice cream/treat parlor than a cafe, but they do have a good selection of breakfast and lunch meals. They provide counter service (meals in to go containers plastic utensils are available) with indoor seating, and while I only saw one outdoor table, I suspect they may put more outside as the season permits. I was there at 8 am on a Saturday. I was the sole customer and there was only one Barista, however I did get my food and coffee within 5 minutes. I had the loaded biscuits and gravy, which were both delicious and a huge portion. Two people could have split that meal easily. My coffee was fresh brewed drip, and it was great. I was disappointed they didn't have Splenda or Stevia sweetner, only sugar and Sweet and Low. If you like cream, you need to ask as they keep it behind the counter (at least they did when I was in). The cafe itself was clean, neat, and has a great display of goods for sale and to order. The bathrooms are located in the middle of the shopping center inner service tunnel hallways, which was a little disconcerting since not all the hallways are properly lit and are being used as miscellaneous storage in some spots. My only two complaints are the lack of Stevia or Splenda sweetner, and the lack of lighting going to the bathrooms. The location isn't ideal, but I don't want to hold that against them. I would go here again if I were on that side of town.

Yummy ice cream and great atmosphere! Lots of options with teas, coffee, ice cream, fudge, truffles, food.

Great lunch foods, great coffee drinks, delicious Blue Bunny ice cream that can be made into a milkshake, reasonable prices and now they have delivery. Atmosphere is relaxed, family vibe with a shelf of games to engage kids adults. Want to get the kids off their phone, play some games here with ice cream! I hope they will be out at County Jam. I appreciated their reasonable prices (for an event like that) free samples. Not sure of it was this same company.

I love bringing my son to Steadfast for ice cream dates the people are friendly and the atmosphere is great! And today I went to the gift shop attached and got my son the cutest handmade Picchu toy! Love that they support other local small business!

This is a regular stop for a better cup of coffee or a properly made espresso drink in the morning. (Coffee beans from a local roaster Picking from the breakfast menu can be difficult, because it's All Good... Fresh-made with generous portions at reasonable prices. The lunch specials are usually a very good deal.. I'd recommend one of Steadfast's Toasted Bagel Sandwichs any day of the week. (Tasty sweet treats too!
