Kuniko's Teriyaki Grill

We only ordered sushi, and overall, it was just mediocre. The quality was not much better than what you’d find at a city market, and the portions were quite small for the price. When the sushi initially arrived, there was a strand of hair on one piece. Personally, I didn’t mind this and wasn't in a rush, but I did notice that the service was slow. There was one party of eight ahead of us, but no one else was there. Again, I didn’t particularly mind the delay, but it might not suit everyone. The imported beer I had was good, and I appreciated that it came in a chilled glass, which I love. Overall, I probably won’t return, as you can find cold beer and average food at a much cheaper price elsewhere.

The food was truly delicious, but the order in which it arrived was a bit strange and the service overall was slow. My date received her meal and finished it before our appetizer even came out. After we finished the appetizer, it took another 15 minutes for my soup to arrive, which I awkwardly slurped down while my date looked on. The service definitely needs improvement; while the staff was friendly, they were quite inattentive. We didn’t get any check-ins or water refills throughout our meal.

The best Japanese food in town! It truly feels like you're enjoying a home-cooked meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Food was good, edamame order was really small, like 16 edamame in an order. Service needs improvement, you have to always make sure there is something on the table, pacing food that is ordered, and taken away when it is done, drinks replenished.

Hospitality was wonderful. They acknowledged me right away. Apologized for a slight delay. Peak lunch was wrapping up. Environment is on the small side but definitely feel of authenticity.
