Aztecas Family Mexican - Grand Junction

Good service, friendly staff, and a cute restaurant. The menu is huge. The food is good. I tried something I've never had, and it was ok, maybe just not my style of flavors. You don't know if you don't try though. The guacamole is very good. There's some kind of secret ingredient for sure. The portions are gigantic. It's a great family restaurant.

Food was inedible. Seriously, the beef burrito meat chuncks were hard like a rock and couldn't be cut with a knife.

My wife and I ate dinner tonight, July 17, 2023 at Aztecas Family Mexican Restaurant. We are in Grand Junction for one night and staying at the KOA campground 8 miles from this restaurant. After dinner we both agreed it was well worth the 8 mile drive from the RV park. There were 3 Mexican restaurants I was looking at in this area, and Aztecas had the best reviews. I had the #21, 2 shredded beef tacos and a cheese enchilada with beans and rice. The serving was huge and the price was reasonable, $14. My wife had the #1, chicken taco, cheese enchilada with beans and rice. The food was excellent. Chips and salsa was served while we waited for our order. The cheese enchiladas were ones of the best we've ever had. It pays to read the reviews and this restaurant comes highly recommended. The service was excellent, the staff is very friendly and attentive to the table. Thanks Aztecas, the food was great, reasonably priced and your hospitality is excellent.

Good food at a fair price with good friendly service. Ambiance is family/ diner style.

It 's your typical authentic Mexican restaurant. You know, with the numbered combination plates that come with rice and refried beans. We liked this place because the food and service were excellent and fast. This is for the Orchard Mesa location. We were tourists and were tempted to go to a chain restaurant, glad we didn 't.
