Cavu Squadron Events - Grand Haven

I've fully enjoyed my experience at the Dunes. The first time was this fall, we.we're able to dine outside. Everything was really top notch. The food, the view, the service all were exceptional. Being able to watch golfers finish amid a spectacular setting, the walk of fame, the fire features, all was unforgettable. The second time was later in the fall, we ate inside and we were impressed with the big bar, the cozy atmosphere and service were impressive. Food was very good. The only bad thing was that there was a band playing and they were extremely loud.Even after being asked to tone it down they were to loud to be able to carry on a conversation. In spite of that I certainly will be back, and look forward to becoming more involved with their program, telling everyone that they should experience everything that's offered.

Incredible experience. The golf course is a great design and test. Clubhouse and Grille are outstanding with all of the fighter pilot memorabilia. Love the support of our fallen heroes and their families.

We had some rain and lightening on the course when we played last weekend, May 21, 2022. Though it made the course wet and the round long it gave us a chance to eat in CAVU which was fantastic. Let's start with the staff. They were friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Always keeping an eye on a very busy restaurant. Now the food. The brisket stack was recommended by the bartender and it does not disappoint. The brisket is very tasty and not fatty, which it can be. The hash browns were nice and crisp and the chipotle aioli added a wonderful flavor. Finally, add an egg on top...delicious. The decor of CAVU added and reminded us why we came to American Dunes and us to take a moment to say thanks to all who serve and especially those who gave their life. I would go back to golf and go back just to eat at CAVE!!

The food is legit- you will not be disappointed. Chicken. Sandwich and potroast nachos
