Dave's Pub & Grill - Grand Bend

We tried Fish and chips and tacos and burger with my family and all were not delicious at all I won't go there any more

I ordered perch and fries at this restaurant. The fish had a strong smell and taste, indicating it was either bad or taken from the bottom of the freezer. Perch is not supposed to have a fishy odor or taste. When I and another customer complained, two customer service workers became defensive. One of them made a loud comment, saying "Oh here we go, one person says it's too fishy and the other says it's too old, no one else has complained!" When I tried to explain that I am a fisherman and know what perch should smell and taste like, she walked away. The other customers and I were given a different meal. Unfortunately, I ended up getting sick.

We had an excellent meal of fish and chips and steak with fries at the restaurant. Our waitress, Ocean, was delightful and really enhanced our dining experience.

We have not been to Dave's in a long time and we thought we better check it out again. The burger was great! Huge with tons of toppings to choose from and lots of sides. My Wife has a side caesar salad and I had poutine as the side and both were great. What a great meal to return to coming back here and I have to say the Staff were great as well! Friendly and welcoming. Really, really, really, happy that we decided to try here again!

We had several lovely meals at Dave's while staying at the Oakwood Resort. Fun pleasant staff and delicious food with a great view overlooking the golf course. Lots of fun, sun and great food and nice selection of wines and drinks. Cheers
