Original Red Pepper - Grand Bay

Been going to this spot since I was a kid. Local staple I'm sure nearly every one in Nodak has heard of if not been to. I live in Minneapolis and I happily drive five or six hours to eat at this delicious and nostalgic local spot. Right smack dab in a neighborhood in a storefront that looks a lot like the houses all around it, because it is one. Their tacos go without saying but the crown jewel of this spot is their white sauce laden Grinders, a sandwich combining most of their delicious ingredients

Fast, friendly service! Reasonable prices and very iconic. My go-to jam is the Combo Enchilada, 2 tacos (or Schneiders! and a soda. Oh yeah, and they always have a good radio station on.

Went there with family.. it takes us all back (my mom use to go there in college). The taste of the grinders never changed (in a good way). Couple of the workers were not the friendlist--not rude just didnt seem to enjoy thier time there. But all in all we all had q good time.

I love this place. I always make it to eat here passing through town. The food is always consistent, mainly since it’s so basic, but it’s cheap!

In town for a graduation and was told we had to get a grinder. The white sauce hot sauce combo is so yummy. The lady working was very nice and accommodating and put the hot sauce on the side because my mom is a spicy baby. I’d put a picture with the review but we ravished these meals like they were gonna be taken away from us.
