Cozy place. Good food and coffee, and friendly service.

I was looking for a charming and authentic restaurant between Oslo and Fenstad, and after doing some research, I stumbled upon this hidden gem. Although it wasn't easy to find, I'm so glad I persevered! I decided to try the seafood sandwich, expecting just a small amount of seafood, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it was enough to feed two hungry people. The dish was absolutely delicious, served with mango and a side salad. Upon entering the restaurant, you place your order first before finding a seat and having your meal brought to you. There is a large jug of water available for self-service. Overall, the experience was delightful and I would definitely return to dine here again.

When visiting the quaint village of Gran, it is always a pleasure to dine at Bakgården (the Backyard). Despite its location near the railway station and lackluster view, the food is impressive. I enjoyed the shellfish sandwich with aioli - a delightful international flavor in a small Norwegian village!

Beautiful renovated place in the town of Vassenden, Gran Zentrum. The club sandwich was very good, unlike the role at Lygna earlier a day. I wish Bakgården the best of luck in the future, there is someone here who strives for quality. My quality contribution is to announce that the staff must receive the guests. I was sent, then nobody ate. I didn't know if there was service at the tables or at the switch. One of the employees sat and worked with (probably) a friend. I received several discreet views in my direction. After all, I went to the counter and finished my change. No food service, but lunch and soup, among others.
