A rare treat in Grado: dining right by the sea! The terrace of the Ristorante alla Diga can offer this as well as really excellent food and very friendly service. Yes, it has its price, but it is deserved. We'd love to come back!

A beautiful place on the Diga, with a view of the wonderful sunsets in Grado. About the food: the starters were excellent, the secondi were good, we didn't like the desserts at all (tiramisu and chocolate mousse). Overall, mixed. The service: The communication when making the reservation is always very friendly, BUT the service at the table is not sufficient for the price range. We watched two waiters step over a guest's jacket that had slipped off the back of a chair at least four times without picking it up. Then we did that. The wine with the meal was served without new glasses, the glasses from the aperitif were simply left standing. We waited forever for the chance to order dessert and ended up having to force our attention. Conclusion: We were a bit disappointed overall. Nevertheless, you can go and enjoy the beautiful place, and also eat well (if you choose well, and admittedly, we are picky) Service: 3 Location: 5
