In fact, I have eaten the pizzas of this Neapolitan pizzaiolo (pizza-maker), Luigi, for about 40 years, back when he was making 500+ pizzas per day for another local pizzeria. He has an incredibly flavorful secret spiced olive oil that he uses, a family recipe that he took with him to this new pizzeria, that makes the pizza. The crust is baked to perfection. Some here have said that it is too oily. This is nonsense. You will love this authentically Neapolitan pizza, no matter which toppings you choose. Be sure to head over to the oven to say ciao to Luigi, with the big mustache--you can 't miss him.
The restaurant and the food is nothing extraordinary but the waiters stole the show. They are loud singing and laughing loudly and yelling at each other while working as a part of machine perfectly synchronised. It was the place where we felt that these guys are Italian and it was good to be a part of the feeling.
Stopped here for lunch as we only wanted a Greek salad for a light lunch- it did not even match the description on the menu missing half the ingredients. A few green leaves, a few olives topped with grated emmenthal and high charges plus extra for bread and cover. Huh they must be joking. The worst 'meal ' we had on our whole trip Waiter knew he was ripping us off as could hardly look us i the eye.
Great menu, reasonable prices and friendly staff.
The service leaves a bit to want otherwise it would deserve one more because the fish is stratospheric, great and , especially fresh apart from the frozen because off season) . the cuisine, therefore, is as good as the delicious pizza. I recommend booking
