What a disappointment: Miettes used to be one of the top French bakeries in Brisbane, but under new management, it has unfortunately become one of the worst. The croissants are now dreadful—soggy, stale (I bought them at 7:30 am expecting them to be fresh, but I was mistaken), and they taste overwhelmingly of refined sugar, resembling those you can buy at Coles or Woolworths for a fraction of the price. Very disappointed with new owners ! Sausage rolls just like any pastry chain no puff pastry anymore now shortcrust meat is mush could see onion and carrot in meat mixture before . Sour dough Bread was meant to be kept the same as previous owners NOT the same , Just looks the same but not as dense on the inside, as the previous bread was with previous owners .
