Kempock - Gourock

A lovely and friendly pub. The owner was welcoming, and the locals were friendly. They were kind as well. The drink selection is limited, but everything is quite enjoyable.

Only went in for one due to the Dunoon ferry messing up... but the regulars were friendly, the pint was cheap and there was live music not many better ways to kill 40mins!

Lovely atmosphere very friendly people. Great music.

I visited this place back in the mid-'90s. I selected a song on the jukebox that I had never heard before, and the pub owner mentioned that he played the drums on that record! He also advised us, in Norwegian, to drink our whisky neat, without ice, so we did—and I still enjoy it that way. I hope to return this year!
