The Roses Cafe - Goulburn

This is the best Australian restaurant advertisement I have ever seen. The food and coffee are amazing. The staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommended. They have a winning formula. We had a fantastic experience there in the past few weeks.

Roses is located in the old St Patrick's school hall. It has been beautifully restored, combining lovely heritage features and fresh modern decor. Good menu, excellent friendly staff, quick service. You can sit outside o the balcony or in by the open fire. Located right...next door to the Abbey Motel it is the best spot for breakfast if you are staying in the motel (and by the way, you should stay there, it's fabulous). Only wish we had been there at the weekend when it opens for drinks and dinner.

What a lovely surprise! Passing through Goulburn after many years we found The Roses. One look inside set the scene for a splendid lunch. Be hungry for the choices are never ending, from home made pie, lasagne and cakes to diet (sic) for. Good selection...of beverages, quick service with a smile, makes this place a must stop next time in Goulburn. Did I mention the prices? Better not or they might put them up; great value!

Abundant, friendly, relaxing, inclusive and a beautiful historic building. Tasty fresh food. Great coffee and staff.

We recently dined at the new location of Roses Cafe in Goulburn. Note: Tripadvisor needs to update the photos on the listing as they are from the old location and do not reflect the beautiful new setting. The owners and staff have done a great job with the decor. The ordering, delivery, and service were all excellent. The display cabinet showcasing the food was the best I have seen outside of Europe.
