Hibernian Hotel - Goulburn

Googled pubs in goulburn on Sunday as we went for a drive to have lunch! I liked what I saw on the website and we were not disappointed... we had the Hibo burger lunch special OMG it was amazing and so cheap for a burger... we live in Leichhardt 5 minutes from the Centre of Sydney and it was the best burger we've had since we can't remember... yes people your saying it's just a burger but I'm telling you... TRY IT!!! the staff were friendly and helpful and the pub had a nice feel to it, I work in hospitality myself and was very impressed

Today we went to Hibo to celebrate my Nan's 93rd birthday. I want to thank the kind lady who made a dessert dish with a candle for free (I wish I got your name). The restaurant staff sang happy birthday, along with the other patrons, and the bartender (again, I didn't get your name) announced it over the microphone. Thank you for making Nan's day even more special. We have never had a bad meal here, and your service is exceptional. I wonder if Nan is your oldest patron. Nan's favorite meal, as well as my mom's, is the salmon, and even though it's not on the menu, you still make it for them. Thank you.

Great place to take the family and good value for money.. Excelent bistro and would have to be the best steaks in Goulburn. Highly recommended.

Recommended by the receptionist of the motel across the road. Did not disappoint! Meal was quick coming out, and absolutely delicious, definitely the best we've had at a pub for a very long time. Staff fabulous too! We'll be back nect time in Goulburn.

The filet mignon was absolutely delicious. It was cooked perfectly and was the best I've had in Victoria, New South Wales, or Queensland, all at a great price. The service was also outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.
