Lasso Espresso - Gothenburg

Great coffee selection, friendly stuff. Stopped by on my cross country trip and was not disappointed. Barista recommended one of the lattes I've never tried before. I think it was something with banana and it was pretty good. I had it iced. Will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area.

One of the best and cutest coffee stops on I-80. I've been stopping at Lasso for years on our way from Chicago to CA. Coffee and bakery are great!! Gothenburg also has an original Pony Express station in their town park only a few minutes from Lasso. Stop by and see it. It's open for viewing as a museum/shop during the daytime.

I am an OTR driver and I stop here every time I come through! I love any coffee shop that has the BIG iced coffee drinks, and ones that I can get near with a semi. Easy walk from either of the cubby truck stops at this exit. I usually get an iced latte (they even have decaf, YAY! . Their bakery items are good too, especially the raspberry white chocolate scones. I've bought several of their shirts. Super friendly staff, neat little gift shop.

Great iced Carmel latte and loved the pina colada smoothie. Our dog loved the pup cup. Great service with a smile

Very pleasant stop on our road trip! Coffee is not too sweet (we got a mexican mocha and cafe breve) which is how we like it, though I’m sure they had sweeter options- they had a perfect variety on their menu while not being too overwhelming… And it seems our dog really enjoyed their pup cup (pictured below)! Staff was very friendly and they were open after 5pm on a Wednesday.
