What a beautiful and photogenic setting. The lounge areas are especially cosy and private with a fireplace. A variety of different styled seating areas. They can accommodate small or large groups. Food is excellent and the delightful staff are warm and friendly. You can scan a QR code at your table and settle your bill without calling a waiter. Overall highly recommended. Recommend: Main The Coppa Burger with added bacon and skinny fries. Desert just about anything really, Creme Brulé, Espresso Truffles, Flourless Chocolate Cake! Parking: There is parking available at the back down the side road.

The service at the restaurant was excellent, but the food didn't meet the usual standards. I had a steak that was quite tough, which was refunded. The other main dishes were not served hot enough. On a positive note, the views were fantastic. Overall, for lunch, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4. The price per person was around £40–50.

I ordered the pappardelle with beef ragu for £16.50, but it arrived lukewarm. I believe hot pasta tastes much better. I was expecting pulled beef, but it ended up being just pappardelle in a brown sauce, which was quite disappointing. The menu description seemed misleading. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she checked with the chef, who confirmed that this is how the dish is always served. At £16.50, it feels rather pricey. I'm curious about how the chicken dishes are prepared; based on my experience, I wouldn't expect much. On a positive note, the restaurant's setting is beautiful year-round, and there’s plenty of parking available.
