The Glen House - Gorham

My favorite hotel in the white mountains. The view at the base of Mount Washington is amazing in the fall. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are good size and comfy, plus it’s dog friendly.

Great hotel all around. Very clean, staff is excellent, pet friendly, and a great location. I rode for 9 plus hours in the 12 hour solo race at 24 hours of glen with the goal of meeting my family for dinner in the hotel restaurant. They allowed an 8:45pm reservation and were paitent with my arrival at 9:20pm with my family ordering beer and food before 9. We also had breakfast at the restaurant in the morning and it was excellent. My family could see me twice during my laps right in front of our balcony as the trails go through the hotel property. We are looking forward to coming back soon and highly recommend this property.

Would recommend the mountain view rooms over the regular rooms. Regular rooms face the road and loud engine braking woke me the first night. Kept the fan on in the room the second night, and slept better. Pool was smaller than expected from the pictures. Good for small kids, but maybe not as much fun for bigger kids. Hotel was very clean and nice and people were pleasant.

Very nice comfortable hotel. Beautiful views. Not fully soundproof (heard ppl walking above and in the hallway) but otherwise it was really nice! Highly recommend.

We were on a multi day New England trip. Woke up in Vermont and made our way across the state to Mt. Washington. We didn’t have a place to stay that evening because we weren’t sure how far we wanted to keep driving. My daughter found The Glen House and low and behold it is at the base of Mt. Washington too! To our delight, they had an available room. We had a lovely mountain room and the room itself was very comfortable and nice! It fit 4 of us comfortably. I woke up super early the next morning and enjoyed having my coffee sitting out on the porch next to the fire pit. Loved every minute of it too! Being from the south, the dip in temperatures was a wonderful break from the heat and humidity from home. The only complaint I have is that we didn’t plan for multiple days in this beautiful town to enjoy more hiking and enjoy this beautiful hotel! Highly recommend!!
