If you're a local considering dining here, I strongly recommend opting for takeaway instead of eating in. If you choose restaurants based on ambiance and decor, this may not be the right spot for you; it’s a genuine Chinese eatery. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and if you get takeaway, they even include a complimentary bag of prawn crackers!

The kids are wonderfully taken care of here. I was quite surprised by the earlier review. One of the main reasons we keep coming back is how attentive they are to our little ones—they're greeted with apple juice, and they always remember their favorite meals. Be sure to try the specials; the laksa is fantastic, especially on a chilly evening.

This restaurant serves the best duck soup noodles I've ever had. I've consistently experienced good and attentive service here. It's the perfect spot for a weekend lunch!

A North Shore staple. This has long been a go-to place for me. Service is quick (don't expect to stay here for too long) and the green tea is complimentary. Food is cheap at $11.50 for a vegetarian laksa with the normal humongous laksa serving. And it's damn yummy.

Cheap and cheerful the original fast food! The decor is basic, very basic; plastic plates no table cloths. The is the perfect place to go with small children who can't wait and hate sitting. It is noisy and gets alot of take away customers. The food is great fresh vibrant flavours straight out of the wok. You will be in and out in no time and it won't cost as much as Maccas!
