The entire place is run by one person. He preps, cooks, waiters and cleans all by himself. To maintain the quality of his food (and it is amazing) is a mammoth effort. Some people have complained about the dirty dishes and the long wait times. He has a few tables where he stacks all the dirty dishes on a table near the entrance that he does at the end of the night because he doesn't have enough time to do them during service. The wait times can be long so bring some good friends and prepare for a comfy night in but its because, once again, the entire, 50 seated restaurant is run by one person who does literally everything. I wish this man all the best and will come as often as possible. He is my hero

Conveniently located with a huge carpark nearby, Acacia Japanese did not disappoint. The flavours of the Gyoza were the best I've tasted and the freshness of the sashimi was superb. The Bento box dinner was delicious and contained generous portions. A one man show waiter, chef and manager all in one I don't know how the owner keeps his cool! Great for an evening catch up with friends where there is no need to rush. Restaurant is spacious and well ventilated.

Fresh and well presented Japanese food in a pleasant setting. You might spend a bit more than your average sushi joint but it's worth the quality and quantity. I was impressed with the variety of choice and my kids loved the bento boxes.

After a long break as we moved interstate a number of years ago, we made a special trip to this restaurant and the owner remembered us straight away. Giving the business the credit it deserves, during and post COVID that has hurt many businesses alike, the owner is here and serves with a smile. The food is amazing!
