Meridian Bar and Restaurant

The food varied from very good to average depending on the dish. The front desk lady seemed to have zero training on how to handle customers with experience in the better class of restaurants (starting out outright rude). The menu is old and a lot of items are not available. One of the waiters was very competent and took our order and got everything right and fairly quickly. The non-vegetarian items were pretty good, though if my memory serves right, slightly less tasty compared to last year. The non-veg Manchurian items were very good. Hearsay (from a relative) is that the quality of vegetarian items on our order was poor. The rest varied in-between. I am reducing one star for the experience with the front desk.

The rooms are well-maintained at this restaurant. We booked an XL-size room which includes a working area (with a sofa, chair, and table) and a bedroom with an attached bathroom. The price was lower than expected. Overall, our experience was good.

A good choice if you want to have veg and non veg food. Bar area is separate from the restaurant and hence no problems with families.

We went with a friends group. So, stayed in suit room. Good enough maintanence. Room service also available good.

The best lodge and bar in Gobichettipalayam is very nice.
