Cantina Gueros N Peoria - Goodyear

Really loved this place! We went on a week night, in time for happy hour. We had the best service that we have had in any restaurant in a long time. We tried some fun drinks and enjoyed the perfect chips and salsa before ordering. There is a funand happy vibe to this place. Loved the music and decor. Our food came in a timely fashion and was great. As others havesaid, the flavors of the beans and rice aren't what you would expect but we enjoyed them. We all cleaned our plates and theenjoyed the fried ice cream as a treat. Such a great time and the service was perfection!

Food was ok, nothing special of anything that really stood out. Beer was really cold and reason I gave this place a 4. Waitress was friendly and attentive. I do like how they had a separate section from the bar in case you wanted a quiete seat.

First time trying here was yesterday and we had a great experience! If you sign up for their text club you get $10 off the next visit. Their salsa was VERY delicious. We tried both the red and the charred pineapple. I don't usually like sweet salsas butthat is a must have again soon. Prices are similar to surrounding places. Will definitely be back.

A really artsy, fun, Day of the Dead vibe. Totally into it. Greeted and seated promptly. Reminded me of the Disney film ?Coco?. ???? ???? ???? Fast, friendly waitress. Food was delicious. A different take on simple Mexican dishes. My shrimp chimichanga wasstuffed with black beans and rice and a little skimpy on the shrimp. Bread pudding was delicious filled with raisins and nuts. Iwould ask to hold the cheese next time on the bread pudding. It comes smothered in it. It wasn?t horrible just different. Theceviche was a very small portion for $15. Poblano cheese cornbread was a spicy, a little sweet from the corn and very tasty. Asyou can see from my photos a chill fun vibe for the family! Great addition to Goodyear! We have had the pleasure of dining in for lunch twice, so far. There was a short wait each time, but it was worth it. Our servers were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Our entrees were good sized portions and delicious fot a fair price too! Ihad a Shrimp burrito on my 1st visit and a breakfast burrito on my 2nd visit. Both were grande and perfecto!! I thought it wasodd to add French fries to the breakfast burrito, but to my surprise it was so good! My husband and son ordered different carneburritos each time and they loved them. Chips and salsa kept coming. We fell in love with the Chipotle salsa and took some home!This place is still new and has a new wait staff. Be patient, sit back, take it all in and enjoy!
