Yeti Nepalese Restaurant - GOODWOOD

With my dad at hospice decided to give Nepalese food a try. Have always wanted to. Fast delivery, hot, freshly cooked food. Absolutely delicious every bit of it. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Can't wait to give it another go

This is our local Nepalese restaurant. Most of its trade is take away. The ambience is a bit ordinary but the food is always delicious, hot and fresh. The vegetarian selection is excellent here too. Nepalese seems to be a little like Indian but not as hot. They have a satisfactory wine list too or you can wander down to the Goody Cellars and pick up a bottle of Pinot Gris or Tasmanian Riesling to enhance the gently curry flavours. It's my go to take away for Nepalese or a quick in house dining experience before of after a movie at the local Capri or when we're too tired to cook.

I really enjoyed the food! It was similar to Indian, but had milder, fresher elements and a bit more variety than what you see in Indian restaurants. The restaurant was nice, music traditional and service good.

We've had plenty of Indian food but had never tried Nepalese. As we were going to the Capri Theatre, this seemed like an opportune time to try. We dropped in early, at opening time, at the same time as another large party with a booking. The restaurant seemed a little short staffed as I guess it was pre-peak, and before the peak staff for the night arrived. But rather than make customers wait, it was all hands on deck and at one point, the cheerful chef emerged from the kitchen to serve us our dish and apologise for the wait! Thank you sir. Very much appreciated.As we are not familiar with Nepalese food, we can't comment on the authenticity. However, it was all very tasty and seemed a little milder and creamier than the Indian equivalent.We had grilled chicken similar to tandoori, a creamy prawn curry and a butter chicken, accompanied by unleavened bread and basmati rice. Very tasty and enjoyable.

These guys were so friendly and the food was so tasty & plentiful. 5 of us went here after a movie at the Capri, it was s bit late but they still gave us excellent service and lovely food. If you love a great Currie give This place a go, you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
