Baker Boys Bbq - Gonzales

Fantastic bbq! Brisket brilliant, sausage brilliant. Didn't even try the sauce. It doesn't take it, but I bet the sauce is good. Pages, potato salad good, Mac N cheese good, red beans good. Price is also fantastic, $12 for two meat plates with two sides! Iced tea freshly brewed delicious. I'm very picky about bbq, but that'll be a regular one. I came back to bring brisket, ribs and sausage home.

We live in San Antonio. It is worth the ride to Gonzales for this BBQ. Every bite is tasteful and no taste overwhelms any other. The ribs were tight. They were boiled exactly right so that you can lift and eat the bone without the fight to tear the meat off the bone. The banana pudding we just say I make a pretty lot of myself that my friends love who mean.

Turkey and sourcing are so fantastic here and the boned chicken leg with onions and peppers is a delicious bite. Large bands and pretty good brisket too. Everything was worth the ride, even the normal chicken. The Cheesey potatoes are simple, yet delicious. Well earned place on top 50 and great destination BBQ!

It is on the 2017 Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ list for good reason. The fat seal is great. The pork has a great taste and is very delicate. And the ribs had a wonderfully sweet taste. I also had a piece of chocolate cake that tasted home.

Brisket was cooked to perfection. Chicken was tender and had a great smokey flavor. Sides and tea were excellent as well. This place will be a BBQ destination and put Gonzales on the map.
