Sorriso Italiano - Goleta

3.5 Super basic and decent price. I wouldn't say it's the best Italian place, but it's sufficient if you need some carbs in your life. The way it works is you can choose from popular dishes or create your own. I got the pasta carbonara and it came in a huge portion but it was pretty much just spaghetti. No veggies or anything, but I'm sure I could have added on. Prices were pretty decent... especially if you're on a college budget. But then again, pasta really shouldn't cost that much.

Great place in IV for pasta and pizza! Love the personal size they offer for pizza. I always get the pasta Togo and it's enough for two people! Mama Rosa sauce is my favorite ! Now they have a new build your own menu that is affordable and awesome! Also nice owners and staff!!

Bottom Line: A nice spot with a human touch! Wife, kid and I headed over here the other night for dinner based on reviews. We sat down with a pie, some brushetta and carbonara and were pleasantly surprised. The Pizza was very good as it had a bunch of fresh veggies on it(zucchini, carrots) as well as the proteins that i requested. Tons of flavor but a little too moist if I had to complain about something. Wife loved her pasta and the brushetta was yummy. Loved the bread that came out as well. both the pie and the pizza had cornmeal (i think) on the bottom which rounded out the flavor very well. All in all we liked it and will be back

I really enjoy Sorriso Italiano. In a town of few take out Italian restaurant options, I am glad that this place is around. The quality definitely shows in not only the food, but the service. I am treated very cordially each time I eat here, and you can tell that the staff take pride in their work. It's an added bonus that the place settings are arranged once seated something that I would typically only expect in a sit down establishment. Their food is carefully prepared, and it is so flavorful. The pasta tastes fresh, which is a treat. The portions are good, each dish is priced competitively, and the pasta entrees seem to come with a large slice of rosemary focaccia bread which tastes incredible. Plus, they offer a frequent diner punch card! I always leave here happy. Take out speed and pricing with the quality of a refined sit down restaurant: a win win in my book! If you're in IV, give this place a try you won't be disappointed.
