El Sitio Restaurant - Goleta

Tacos were dry. I had chicken took forever to get the food and there's no place to sit and no fountain drinks

The truth is that I was disappointed because I put up with it...the hunger to taste a Cuban burrito. I ordered by phone and they gave me a burrito the size of a normal one. 22 dollars I paid

Wanted to give a local place a chance so I ordered a chile relleno burrito, w/ added sour cream guacamole. I was charged $5.50 for the guacamole alone wow), and an additional $1.50 for sour cream. Very pricey for what I received :

El Sitio is a local Mexican food spot with a cult like following. As simple and straightforward as they come. Delicious! Vegetarian options: Plenty of no-meat options. Parking: There are a number of spots right in front of the restaurant, but the street parking can be limited. Kid-friendliness: Mellow environment is kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step into the restaurant, so it’s not wheelchair friendly.

Even though El Sitio is known more for their tacos than burritos, I highly recommend their burritos. Griddled post-wrapping is such a great move that is too infrequently done (especially at places that skew more towards the bloated sf mission burrito style). These burritos at El Sitio are lean, mean, and with great beans. This also happens to be the place that got my burrito connoisseur 11-year old to appreciate tacos. he had a carnitas, a chicken, and a carne asada and liked all three. Their rajas tacos are decent but the cheese is barely melted. Parking: Several spots right out front and more directly adjacent on surface streets
