Great food and huge amounts for the price. Everything was very flavorful and juicy. Sauces were great with the meats. Servers were nice and patient. The atmosphere was calm and not bright or loud. Very relaxing and didn’t have to wait a long time even though we ordered about all the meats available. We got the Carlos platter and came with seven meats and four sides for an amazing price!
Do better. I ordered the arroz chaufa (sp? . It was absolutely disgusting.The chicken was dry and tough and the rice smelled rancid and was too greasy to eat. The yellow sauce was so thick, I had to spoon it out of the half filled container. What a waste.
Swanky and chill vibe in the middle town, the manger came out and serviced us and was great through the whole experience and the food was fantastic ? well worth the price. A very well run place would recommend.
Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Experience I recently joined a friend for dinner at Los Fogones, and it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever witnessed. My friend ordered a well-done steak, but it arrived undercooked. When my friend politely asked for a replacement, the owner came out, visibly annoyed, and condescendingly lectured my friend on how steak should be cooked, insisting on his years of experience and that he is right and she is wrong. The owner was so stubborn he didn't realize you can't force your customers to eat your bad cooking, no matter how many years his being doing it wrong and he lives in denial. To make matters worse, she was charged for both the returned steak and the replacement meal. This unfair treatment and the owner's rude behavior ruined our evening. I can't recommend Los Fogones to anyone who is opinionated of how they like their food because for a fact their opinion doesn't count to the owner of this restaurant and you won't avoid mistreatment if you don't like the food. The owner will retaliate by giving you a cooking lesson, a speech of his year of experience, he will be charged you for both meals, pretend he fixed your charges then once you are done and out of the business charge you again for both meals to your credit card the next day. Dining out should be enjoyable, not a lesson in dealing with arrogance, condescending, and poor service.
