El Korita - Goldsboro

We are from the city and visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. They seated us promptly without any issues, despite our group of eight. The food was delicious, and everyone was pleased with their meals. I tried the dish named after the restaurant, the El Korita, along with two burritos and a chili relleno, and everything was fantastic. It was a great value with tasty food!

I really wish I had taken some photos, but I was so hungry that I just dove right into my food! It was absolutely worth it. The woman I was with and I tried the vegetarian options, which were beautifully presented. Their vegetarian selections were highlighted on the second page of the menu. They even let us mix and match, so I created a mushroom and spinach burrito combo. I can't recall exactly what the woman ordered, but it was delicious too. I dare say this is some of the best Mexican food I've had in North Carolina so far. If you're in Goldsboro, this is the place to go! The service was excellent as well. Enjoy!

Best Mexican restaurant ever, value 2 bark chili rellenoes with rice and bean to go for $9.07 a bag of chips and container of salsa was included. I can't ask for a better one. always a pleasant visit, friendly staff. would highly recommend.

There were plenty of options on the menu, and we had a lovely young waitress who was very attentive and checked on us frequently. If you're looking for a bit more spice in your salsa, I suggest asking for it to be made spicier; the regular salsa that they serve initially has a rather bland taste, reminiscent of crushed tomatoes. All in all, I enjoyed my meal, and I definitely plan to return the next time I'm in town visiting my brother. It's great comfort food!

I love eating at El Korita. They have the best Mexican food, but today in celebration of my B-day. My friends took me there for lunch. The food was great as usual, but when we went to pay is when the problem began. One friend bought my lunch for my birthday and the other I paid for as she didn't get paid until the next day. I was over charged for my friends meal. We mentioned it at the time and was told it was correct. When we got back to the office we looked into the situation and found that we were overcharged. I called the restaurant and spoke with Maria who said she was the manager. I told her the problem. Maria looked at the check the waitress had written up and it said $14.04, when the waitress charged me $16.04, and I even added a $3.00 tip for a total bill of $19.04. It looked as if she overcharged me $2.00, but Maria said no, the bill was $14.68 (even after telling me the waitress had figured $14.04). We went over the bill together with her flip flopping on the prices. She finally agreed that I was overcharged by $2.00, but was then told that she would give me $3.00 as I seemed hard up for money. All I wanted was to be charged correctly. I only picked up the $2.00 I was overcharged. Go for the great food, but make sure you're being charged correctly.
