Turning Point Golden Bc

We like the consistency of quality and service at turning point. Gluten free options are great. Outside dining area has a nice cozy atmosphere. They also keep the place clean.

I went for the BBQ Elk Burger since I'd never had elk before, and I have to say, it didn't disappoint. I was a bit worried it might be dry, but the elk patty turned out tender, though not as juicy as a beef patty.I treated myself to an upgrade with yam fries, and it was the best decision I made all night. They were perfectly fried and paired nicely with the garlic aioli dip.I also ordered the soup of the day, which was Cream of Chicken, and it was a comforting choice for the chilly weather.The service was excellent, and the place had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It was clean and had a cozy, family-style restaurant ambiance. Plus, parking was easy and plentiful.

Dining out on vacation can be a “roll of the dice”, we hit “7 11” when we chose “Turning?Point” !!! Corrie was extremely friendly helpful, answering all our questions, and suggesting some local favorites. Cream of chicken featured soup was hot tasty, elk pizza was exceptional, steak was charred MR perfectly. Definitely a must stop when in or around Golden, BC !!!

Affordable quick eats with a huge extensive menu with pizza, pasta and so much more. I’m sure you’ll find something to cure your cravings. The food came out real quick and piping hot out of the oven so you know it’s fresh. None of it was fancy but it did the trick.Lasagna was good with large amounts of cheese and the butter chicken had a nice flavour and sauce.Pro tip: they have a pet friendly patio in the front and side.

Overall the experience was just ok. Our server was attentive and nice but didn’t relay the specials of the evening (I only knew about a special by overhearing at a different table) and didn’t mention what their version of a ‘baked potato’ was. The food was standard casual fare (burgers, pizza, steaks etc) and overall alright. My partner had the ribs that were received them cold but were sent back to be re-heated. When my partner asked for a baked potato as a side, she received two mashed potato filled spring rolls with the standard baked potato toppings on it. My partner ate the potato spring rolls but it wasn’t what she expected when she ordered a baked potato!
