Good Day Cafe - Golden Valley

We love the crab cakes Benedict. Fast service to begin with but we ordered our bacon extra crisp and it was very limp. Sent it back and the new one didn't come forever, til after we are. Had to take it home. Kind of disappointing

I'm not getting the hype of this place. Bad acoustics, very busy, packed parking lot. Food was mediocre at best. I ordered a salad and that was bottled dressing for sure! A restaurant can easily make or create a dressing that can make or break the salad. Yea.... I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

Pot pie was good. Plate needed color for presentation. Very loud atmosphere would have enjoyed my friends more if we were at a round table.Parking: No problems

I walked up to counter, asked for table for two, the host sat me down, then came back and made me get up. Said there was a waiting list. How are you gonna sit me down and then make me get back up. Where do they do that at?

Stood quietly at the hostess station for ten minutes while the bearded owner gave lengthy instructions to an employee. At no point was I acknowledged when I was finally helped not a word about thank you for waiting or even a greeting. RUDE his giant photo was right at the entry so I know it was the owner himself who was so impolite.
