Wondervu Cafe - Golden

We have been going to Wondervu Cafe for over 30 years and it has broken my heart to see how it 's going down since the new owners have taken over. We always plan to go around 4:00 or at 1:30 for lunch but we have been turned away because the lack of help. How sad is this, such a wonderful tradition for people to drive up the canyon to view the mountains and have some good eats at Wondervu. I can 't comment on the food since we have been unable to eat there. How sad to see a wonderful Icon going into the wrong direction.

A beautiful and historical place to dine. It's very laid back and the view is breathtaking.

This is a lovely little cafe that I stumbled on recently. Good and service was excellent. I’m going back for sure!

We did not even eat here. Just want to note that it is, indeed, a wonderful, amazing, incredible view from here. Wish we had stopped longer for lunch.

This place was recommended to me back in 1989 It was the best Mexican food I'd ever had and I still drool thinking about it. I had the chimichanga. I'm glad it is still around and hope to visit it next time I'm in Colorado.
