Thai Monkey Club - Golden

Delicious! We tried the Thai Peanut, Panang Curry, and Koong Ob Woo Sen, and they were all fantastic. A neighbor had recommended their wonton soup as amazing, so I’ll have to try that next time. The portions were generous, so we ended up with plenty of leftovers. We felt a bit wimpy for ordering a heat level of 3 out of 6, as it still had a good kick (I usually go for 'American Hot' but had heard that TMC tends to be quite spicy). The staff was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. They were out of boba smoothies and a few other items, but I really enjoyed the Thai iced tea. I’ll definitely be back!

If you find yourself in Golden and you don’t eat here, you’re really missing something special! The food is outstanding and the service is incredibly fast. It’s simply delicious!

The decor has a beach bar feel that reminds me of Thailand—colorful and a bit quirky—so there's no need to dress up; just come ready to have fun. The only downside was the seafood, which didn’t quite meet my expectations. You can find a fresher assortment of seafood at nearly any Chinese restaurant south of Alameda on Federal or close by. However, we will definitely be back! Just a quick note: a heat level of 4 out of 6 isn’t as spicy as you might think.
