Red Rooster - Gold Coast

I haven’t had red rooster for awhile but have always loved it. I ordered the classic chicken and chips (wing). The chicken was so small, there was no seasoning and the chips had no salt on them which is also one of my favs....Next time I will specify the order correctly but really, I shouldn’t have to.

For you can drive in, buy a roast chicken, have it cut into pieces while you listen to your fave CD in the car, and take the chook home for dinner. Add chips, gravy, sides. Easy meal and the chicken can be served...hot or cold (just add a bit of lettuce and tomato from the fridge). Great value and the cutting up is already done! Red rooster also offers delivery. Way to go!

Im a huge fan of Red Rooster, The chips are the best out of all the fast food chains, the quarter chicken is fresh and always a good choice. Last night I raced in using the drive through on my to a meeting after work....The guy on the intercom couoldnt have been less interested in helping me, then when paying he looked unkempt and his shirt was hanging out, then the young girl that gave me my order didn't look at me, didn't say anything like have a good night or anything. I think the Managers/Owners would have been really disappointed to see the way the customer is treated. Its any wonder the place wasn't very busy!!

It's the chips and the cheap chook, but mainly the chips, that bring me back time and time again not to mention the drive-thru convenience.

Dropped in last night to try the chicken pie Unfortunately no chicken pies were available but I tried the chicken, bacon and cheese pie (although not impressed by the explanation about cooking schedules the pie was disappointing and I would not recommend it The visit...was also disappointing as the speaker seemed to malfunction and for some unknown reason there was a long long wait as one car in front seemed to take forever to get served.
