Marios Italian - Gold Coast

The food was tops. Haven't been there for years and the food delighted all of us. I had the vegetarian cannelloni which was filling , tasty but didn't leave me feeling stuffed. My friend had the vegetarian risotto which was awesome also. Prices was reasonable too. I wasn't very comfortable on the bench seats and they were very low . All up though it was a nice dining experience. Thanks to all the staff in particular the chefs for such delightful food.

It was my regular catch up with a girlfriend for lunch before I headed overseas, so we went for a walk in Broadbeach and decided to stop at Marios. It’s a large open venue with is sir and outside seating. Mario’s is clean and well styled, we had high hopes for a fabulous dining experience. Oysters Kilpatrick (my staple entree) was very disappointing the sauce was completely consumed by a tomato flavour so that was all I could taste. The pastas and pizza were beyond oily and not very enjoyable or edible. The staff member that served us was rude and inattentive and kept talking to the table next to us whilst trying to take our order. Overall a very disappointing experience wouldn’t recommend, won’t be back.

First Day of the Chinese New Year ~ My husband and I chose this restaurant to celebrate. Food, service, attention to detail were on site. A special cry into the management team (search with the glasses and the gentleman on 01/02/22, who went the extra mile and made our culinary experience so special ONCE AGAIN... Make sure we keep coming for more celebrations and for best Italian cuisine on the coast. Thank you. The anniversary couple...

We, where we first concerned, how busy it was. We found a place, probably near the last table. We have orders within 2min. Entree 5 min later, about 5 min later we received net for our beverage order, then another 15 min later. Very impressed by service, considering how busy it was. Like a good customer relationship staff. Food was excellent, only the complaint was on the beverage side with much too much ice cream. But that's just personal preference.

This is an amazing place. Thanks Mario for a great lunch with the family! We booked this place at 2 a.m. on Sunday, although it wasn't too crowded or anything I think it was worth it. The waitress we had was phenomenal and treated us very well. They were interactive with our little one and the food was fantastic. Felt authentic Italian. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and a chicken armchairs. Even my 14 month old loved the fetters!! Thank you and we'll be back next time.
