Had Malai Kofta and Lamb Madras, was superb. We usually eat at a very expensive Melbourne restaurant, the food was just as good, but a good deal cheaper. Highly recommended.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for a halal joint. The interior may look old, but the food was delicious! We had beef vindaloo, butter chicken and the peas with paneer. All delicious.

Recently visited this friendly restaurant and very much enjoyed the superb food of generous proportions. Staff very attentive and fast service was a big bonus.

Please ignore the plastic table covers and spartan decor, this is seriously the tastiest Indian food on the Gold Coast!I searched long and hard for authentic Indian cuisine and finally found it here at India Gate. The chef is from Rajasthan, so the dishes are traditional north indian. So the food isn't as hot & spicy as some people expect Indian food to be. This is not fine dining and the prices are very reasonable. You will easily feed a family of four for less than $80 - that will include three dishes, rice and naan breads. Trust me, you will have a full stomach and won't be disappointed.
