Hakataya Ramen - Gold Coast

I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. My family and I have been loyal customers for years and have always enjoyed the free birthday noodles they offer. However, on our most recent visit with four other people, we were informed that they no longer offer the free birthday noodles. We were all ready to order our meals, but decided to leave after feeling embarrassed by how we were treated. We will not be returning to this restaurant, especially since there are now many other ramen noodle restaurants to choose from in Surfers Paradise.

I visited this restaurant before Covid-19 and noticed they now have fewer seats. After placing my order, I had to wait standing up until my food was served. The timing was good as the gyoza was delicious, but the ramen was not my favorite. It was still good, just a bit too fatty for my taste.

I went to this whole thing in the wall-tooth shop a little empty, but the restaurant had a good amount and so I went for them. I didn't want to rely on the quality of the broth that I ordered with a spicy Karaka men. (spicy pork soup) with extra pork. everything in all it was quite delicious. the pig was allowed to dry, but the noodles were good and the broth had just enough warm to make it interesting. it was toncottsu rays of hakata Ippudo...no it was totally worth the trip in 'downtown' surfers paradise to ask a razing to satisfy...yes it is a payment on the counter and take a number card type of space so that no service to speak. the decoration was good. there are a couple of interiors, a counter with hockey and some more tables outside in shadow.

A group of us has set up without booking and the friendly staff had no problems dealing with us all. pretty impressive. is ingenious and varied, but not many choices for those with food restrictions.

Enjoyed a good bowl of Ramen here today and was very impressed with the quality and taste. I went the pork extra spicy and it was very good indeed. We also shared some Gyoza, which whilst tasty not as good as the Ramen in my...opinion although my wife loved them. Good quick service, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Good lunch option if your shopping at Pacific Fair.
