Contribuiți la feedbackThe service at Glass dining restaurant was abysmal! A day to be memorable with joy, as I was celebrating my 40th but unfortunately things did not go well thanks to the Glass dining service. Firstly, Terrible customer service! The waitress was outright rude and had no manners. It was evident the customer satisfaction wasn’t a priority! Most restaurants offer you sparkling or still water. At the Glass we had no option, no water on the table and we had to constantly ask the waitress for it or go to the counter to get ourselves. At no point we were offered still or sparkling. We ordered a bottle of champagne and the waitress just left in the bucket, and again we had to ask her to serve us. My friend called her and said she wanted a glass of rose and she abruptly asked: “which one?” Everyone at the table was shocked by how she asked. Despite of the beautiful view, it was REALLY hot inside the restaurant, the guests were uncomfortable and complaining of the heat PS: they were not full at all. I asked if they could turn the aircon up but she just said it was in its maximum range (in a rude way) and I had to ask if she could turn the fan on and she was like, it’s already on, but I pointed to her the fan right above us that was turned off and she was like, oh ok. Then, when it was time to sing happy birthday I asked them to bring me the cake and the staff asked me if I wanted the cake to be brought cut up or whole??? Who on earth sings happy birthday with a cut up cake ??? I could not believe they had asked me that!!! To make things worse, after all of that when we went to pay for the bill we were charged an extra $650 approximately. The manager could not tell us who had paid for what, he only had receipts for the amount my friends had paid. We questioned the amount left as I was certain that everyone had already paid for their consumption but he couldn’t tell us and was adamant that we had to pay for it. We then realised they were charging me for extra people and counting kids as adults. However, every restaurant I’ve been there’s some sort of flexibility in the booking and allow a couple more or less people in the booking. I also clearly remember taking to the manager in the beginning and he said “let’s wait a couple of minutes and we count how many people are here before serving “. Thus my experience at Glass was TERRIBLE , from a deplorable service to the unpleasant atmosphere, this restaurant completely failed to meet even the most basic standards! It really upsets me as it was my 40th birthday party and not only me but all of my friends were disappointed! Shame on you guys!

I have eaten here before and it was nice. This time was very different. The staff were incredibly unorganised and under trained. The service staff were not attentive, it took about an hour to get the first round of drinks and the restaurant was quiet at this time. It felt like he was avoiding us and just chatting to the other table. All of our mains and entrees/starters were just dropped at the table at the same time, we complained and they did nothing about it, we had to just eat quickly or waste the food. The bill was also incorrect and we got a credit card surcharge even though we paid on debit cards. The staff didn’t care about our experience, no one checked if we were happy with the food. Very poor service and experience considering the price you pay we will not be going back.
A Waterfront restaurant that serves beautiful food. 4 of us selected off the set 3 course lunch menu which was great value and fabulous food with decent choices. I would go as far to say, probably the best barramundi dish I've been served, and served hot, hot. Staff pleasant and attentive. Definitely a top restaurant.
