Bistro Lamp - Gold Coast

The overall experience was fantastic! The chicken dumplings were particularly outstanding - tasty balls of flavor in the most delicious sauce.

The Bistro Lamp is a charming Japanese restaurant with a modern touch in its furnishings.

I had an excellent food here and ended up ordering more than I should have. Love especially the mushroom hot stone rice bowl, but others on the menu also as good. Highly recommended.

We stop for dinner the other night and the was a bad idea.... We should have know when the staff interest level was very low in serving us. They are trying to provide an Izakaya food experience, as a person who has lived in Japan they have no idea on what they are doing.

This is a cosy little place with friendly staff and good food right in the centre of Surfers. I was by myself so sat at the bar and had pleasant conversations with the girls serving. The age dashi tofu was silly and yummy and the chicken stone hot pot amazingCertainly recommend
