Fairways Grille - Gold Canyon

Food was good, service was spotty. The language at the bar was very bad, the F bombs just kept coming from them.

Time to give this place another chance. Food is good, service is good. May have gone through some rough spots during their transition but I know we will be back. Just went there yesterday and really could not have been more pleased with the changes. Nice to have a go to option close by for us full time residents.

We had great service and wonderful food when we went there on Saturday, April 29. The Stilettos were playing that night so we went early to have dinner before the band started then stayed for another hour to listen to the band. I had their chicken fried steak dinner and my husband had their liver and onions. It was the best chicken fried steak I have had in a long time and my husband loved his liver and onions dish. Both dishes came with potatoes and fresh green beans. We are very happy about having another good restaurant option here in Gold Canyon. We will definitely be back.

Our restaurant options are very limited in Gold Canyon. It 's unfortunate that we had a terrible dining experience in this area dining establishment. Will not return to this restaurant for a meal. The baked potatoes was served so cold it wouldn 't begin to melt softened butter. The French fries were cold as well and tasted as tho they had been poured from a frozen fry bag directly on the plate. The fried shrimp were luke warm. The owner comped our meals after we complained and then proceeded to throw the chefs under the bus in front of dining patrons, using the F word and telling us she was so angry she threw the French fries at the cooks. Such class! The bartender was very nice and made a good martini.

The old owners..where are they? What happened to this place? Broasted chicken was just ok. Can get the same stuff anywhere else, really even the gas station! Seems like the same menu as before but complete low quality of food preparation. Asking who the new owners were, we were told by the waitress he was the one sitting at the bar slamming beer, totally turned us off. He looked like he really needs rehab and SOON. Obviously they don't care about running a successful restaurant. Drinking profits can't be good for business. Such a shame. G.C. needs a respectful, American Fair restaurant.
