From great to good; wow what a nice dishes and so much taste! We started with a cocktail of the day, which was a great surprise. Sour Gin with a twist, something that came back the whole evening. Home baked bread with yoghurt (cake like) and cream is complementary. The cook gives his twist to everything and it works....the smoked sour cream cheese with roe on a biscuit of backed sweet potatoes was a delight, so was the tartar of salmon with puffed rice and roe. The wine selection we made with help of the waiter who took his time for us. Choice was pinot grigio for me and a riesling to go with the salmon. After the starters we got our main course pretty fast. That could have waited for a few minutes. Never the less, the mussels are to die for. Cooked in tomato juice and white wine, topped off with some cheese and herbs. My table companion had the steak tartare which was not minced but rough cut with red beets and a short heated egg yoke with chips. At 9 it became much more crowded and the waiter had less time for us and it seems also in the kitchen they had less mojo to throw around. The desert was a nice in cognac cooked rubarb with yoghurt icecream and puffed chocolate popcorn. It tasted good but nothing compared to the great starters and main course. This place is Michelin star worthy if they could keep up with the pace or reduce the amount of seatings.

I have been coming here for years and every single time it has been a great experience! I love the staff and the food is always delicious.
