The other day, I was in the mood for a pork steak. When I placed my order, the staff immediately asked if I wanted extra sauce. Since I'm not a big fan of sauces, I declined. My meal came with two sides, and I chose green beans and cheesy potatoes. While checking out the options at the counter, I also spotted chicken wings and couldn't resist adding four to my order for a taste test. When I got home, which was just a short drive away, my food was still nicely warm. The pork steak was a thin cut but incredibly tender and flavorful. Of the two sides, the green beans stood out to me — they were perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper and included onions and bacon, which really elevated the dish. The cheesy potatoes were decent, but they didn’t quite do it for me; I guess I'm a bit picky. However, the chicken wings were fantastic, and on my next visit, they'll definitely be my main course instead of just a side option. The entire staff is committed to excellent customer service. They're warm and friendly, giving you that comforting, homey feel that really shines in a small-town restaurant. It's one of the joys of living in a smaller community where businesses make their customers feel right at home. Will I come back? Absolutely! Your mouth will be watering as you wait in line! You can grab a fountain soda and enjoy your lunch in the cozy back room. And don’t forget to check out their selection of wine, beer, and spirits on your way out. They offer microbrews and a variety of wine and whiskey options to make your meal even more enjoyable. Oh, and one more thing—they have a meat counter where you can buy meat to take home, but honestly, why bother? They do such a fantastic job preparing it for you.

Fantastic customer service! We purchased some sausages, pork steaks, chicken kabobs, and some German beer (Schofferhofer grapefruit). Now we're all set for a barbecue! You really have to try this beer! The first time I had it was at EPCOT in Florida, and it was amazing!

This place is a hidden gem. I loved it have eaten here quite a few times. Sweet staff took very good care of us. The food is very fresh and delicious. I would recommend this for a quick relaxed lunch and bring the whole family here. They take care of you like a five star restaurant. I hope you all enjoy it here as much as my family did. They treat everyone right.

Good selection of meats, but their selection of beer by the bottle has gone down in the last year or so. Also, they have a large selection of wine and a side room to eat or use for whatever.
