Bluewater Restaurant - Goderich

Whenever we are in town, we make sure that visit the Bluewater Restaurant. Fast,home cooked breakfast, lots on your plate, and very nice staff. Big bang for your buck.. We will be back

Bluewater is a par-for-the-course family restaurant. Breakfast, sandwiches, pizza, poutine, that's about it. We had breakfast there two days in a row, and were well satisfied both times. On summer weekends, it can get crowded and the place is by no means over-staffed so service can get a bit slow. But for what it is, they do a good job (better omelets than I've gotten in higher-priced places).

This is usually our go-to place for breakfast, as it is for many locals. You can always tell if it's a local hotspot if they have to ask you if you need a menu or not - most people don't need one because they'll get the same thing everytime.Food is fairly average - yes - it's your typical eggs, bacon, toast, and potatoes, but they do it well, coffee is hot and bottomless, you'll leave feeling full, and both the food and service are consistent - that's where the four stars comes from. Consistency. I've been going here for quite awhile now, and I've had a less than average breakfast maybe only once or twice (cold food, actually) in the past few years. I can forgive that because it's been good n' hot every other time.You can't beat the price, either. Oh, and always get the dollar fries - there's just something about them, and give them a little sprinkle of that seasoning salt they have at the table.

Always a great place for good food and staff are very accommodating. Pizzas are great and breakfast and lunch are great. Very clean place. And very magical at times. Cheers

This place has a fantastic breakfast regardless if you order a regular breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast etc.), or waffle/pancakes. We go about twice a month and have never had any issues with seating, length of wait etc. We also have never noticed anyone there who wasn't enjoying themselves. A mix of older people to babies in highchairs. As for the "server" with tattoos-she's a beautiful young lady and her tattoos are beautiful too. Don't judge someone who is proud to be herself! It actually feels more comfortable with the servers dressed casually than it would with stiff, ugly uniforms. Relax! It's Goderich not Toronto!
