Bǎo Shòu Sī - Gobo

I love visiting local supermarkets, and even large chain stores have their own unique selections that make shopping enjoyable. I recently visited Okuwa Romancity Gojo in Gobo, which I found out later had been badly flooded after the earthquake on Friday. However, they were open for business as usual on Saturday. Their fresh fish section had beautiful sashimi cuts of swordfish and horse mackerel, along with other local delicacies. The bread section also featured Nakata Bread and Pan Kobo Etoile, making it a fun experience just to browse. Overall, a great find for gourmet food in Wakayama.

This is a large-scale complex facility in the area. On the top floor of the entertainment floor with a movie theater, bowling alley, and game center, as well as on the first and second floors below, there are specialty shops, Daiso, and a leading supermarket where you can also shop. There are also restaurants around, as well as a separate building with pachinko and pachislot, and there are multiple large parking lots in the surrounding area, so it is heavily frequented by visitors.

I came here on a short business trip and also for shopping. Oakwa is spacious and nice. I especially liked the variety of prepared foods available.

平日は、人がまばら。 これで店舗が維持できるんだ。 きっと、休日は客が多いんだろう。 田舎なので、中くらいの都市で上映の終わった映画をかけていた。
