Little Red Rooster - Gloucester

We ordered takeout tonight and had it delivered to our home in Gloucester. The delivery was punctual, and the driver was very friendly, even being great with our little dog who loves to jump around and greet people. The food arrived hot, and the order was spot on. We had boneless chicken breast with ranch and barbecue sauce, which was juicy and delicious—more than we expected! We also got fries and onion rings, both of which were perfectly cooked and still warm. We will definitely order from them again.

I tried this place a few months ago after it reopened and wasn’t particularly impressed. However, I gave it another chance, and they’ve really improved. The food was super crispy and quite delicious!

Finding good fried chicken in the Boston area, especially on the North Shore, can be quite a challenge. You might wonder how it will taste after being driven home, but this restaurant is the place to visit. Their fried chicken remains delicious even when cold the next day. The chicken is lightly marinated, featuring a flavorful and crunchy fried coating, along with some delightful sauces. While the fries could be crisper (though I don't typically eat them), the coleslaw is fantastic, enhanced by poppy seeds. Plus, there's a complimentary side salad made with fresh, buttery lettuce instead of shredded iceberg. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and while parking can be tricky in that area of Rogers Street, it’s worth the effort. I highly recommend this place!

These are the best ChickenFingers that I have ever had from a restaurant. The staff was very friendly abd the food was awesome 5 stars all the way.

Yum! So glad to see you're back open. Had an amazing sandwich, fried chicken basket with delicious mustard sauce, and great pasta salad. Oh! And yummy cheese fries. Thanks for bringing great fried chicken to Gloucester's downtown. ?
