Mercado Cocina Cantina - Glenview

Nice little cantina in the Glen with a Mexican flair. This is the second version of the menu that we have seen and enjoyed both. Now they may be on their way to a third. Let's hope they make it. This is a nice options to have on Glenview. More expensive than expected, but I think you can partially blame the pandemic for that and the food has always been delicious. A new menu and some price reductions may help this spot to hop. Good luck.

This place is SO AMAZING. I live out of town but fly in every month and this place is the first spot I go to when I leave the airport. Located in glenview by the train station, but I swear it is something you would find downtown in Chicago. The food is PHENOMENAL, I cannot stress that enough. The drinks are just as amazing. Wonderful evening! The chef is top shelf. It's a gourmet-style Mexican restaurant in a cantina setting. The staff is knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly. The margueritas are unique and taste wonderful — try the Guava Marguerita. The Crepas de Marisco (3 seafood crepes) and Shrimp with an delicate sauce and rice were lovely. BEST traout and salmón i have tried..ando i really recomended tamarindo margaritas..very atentive staff and good food
